Arlene's Grocery

Exactly one year after the NZ interview, Jeff played this show, the first at the newly opened Arlene's Grocery, a notable one for many reasons: for those who don't know, not only is it another bittersweet one as it was his last one in NY, but he was the first one to play here as a sort of blessing to owner Shane Doyle after he closed the now legendary Sin-e (Jeff was also the last show there) and it's the only one with new drummer Parker Kindred. It's also made up mainly of new material that would later appear on Sketches...another fun fact recently learned? The show was apparently originally scheduled to be played at Maxwell's in New Jersey...(website)
